AMDM's 35th Annual Meeting Success

AMDM's April meetings were well attended with representatives from IVD companies around the world. The meetings opened on Monday evening with the RA 101 Pre-meeting Session in which Lorrie Piestrak presented some valuable background information on the FDA's structure and the various types of submissions. This session was followed by the OIVD 510K Workshop with talks from FDA officials on the various regulations impacting the IVD industry and ending with a practice session for submitting an electronic 510K submission. The Annual Meeting of the AMDM rounded out the 35th year for this conference with topics relevant to the IVD Industry. Attendees comments were very favorable with indications that the presentations were both timely and beneficial in the information shared. Everyone enjoyed the interactions with FDA staffers and the networking with others in the industry.
